About Us

Our small family business was established in order to shine a light on homelessness in our own area, spending the greater part of 2019, solely raising funds for the work of Kingsway Community Care’s Platform Nine. From our beginnings at a small market in Jannali, to our online presence today, Alabaster Jar Collective continues to support this amazing community of compassion which provides crisis accommodation to families who have no place to call home. We also seek to support Hopefield, a Christian, community based, not-for-profit, therapeutic and social services organisation that enables people to solve issues by equipping them for change, inspiring hope and transforming lives.

Our Candles

Alabaster Jar Collective’s range of beautiful hand poured soy and coconut wax candles, are perfumed with a range of distinct, botanically based, Australian made oil fragrances. Translucent white jars give the illusion of traditional alabaster, as they glow from within.

We use the highest quality Cambridge glassware, featuring a timeless curved base. They are produced by moulding the glass rather than the conventional hand blowing process which ensures a thicker wall, making them a very safe and sturdy glass for candles.

Each jar is filled with luxurious natural coconut and soy wax, which is manufactured here in Sydney then melted and lovingly hand poured by our family. It has a creamy, smooth appearance, formulated for a clean burn and long shelf life. Choose from single, double and triple wick sizes, all made from cotton to avoid any nasties being released into the atmosphere of your home.

Our Reed Diffusers

Our home fragrance collection also includes two sizes of glass Reed Diffusers, which hold 200ml or 300ml of fragrance.  They generally last for many months! Topped with a rose gold or wooden screw top lid and natural 3mm or 5mm wide reeds, they are a great gift, making an elegant addition to any room.
